Our Guide to Spring 2020 Hottest Hair Trends
Spring Cleaning: Clean Up Your Look; Reinvent Your Style with These Hot Hair Trends
As we welcome a new season, as always, we also welcome (or sometimes dread) what comes with it. While I love freeing my toes again in the spring’s cutest sandals, I don’t always enjoy the allergies and spring cleaning. But one of my favorite parts of spring is the opportunity to refresh my personal style; going shopping for cute clothes and makeup (or revamping my old stuff) and experimenting with a new hairstyle! Fortunately, there are some adorable hair trends to pick from this season. To give you some hairspiration, we’ll give you a low-down of some of the hottest hair trends this spring!
Make The Cut
One of Spring’s Hottest haircuts is The Long Bob. The long bob is perfect for all hair types, and goes great with most face shapes (oblong faces might want to avoid it). But what I love best about the long bob is it’s versatility. Straight and sleek, loose and wavy, or even half-up, this haircut is super easy to style and gives you a ton of styling options.
Color Your World
This spring and summer we’ll be seeing Bright Pops of Hair Color. Unlike the pastels of past seasons, spring 2013 hair colors are going bold, from hot pink like Avril Lavigne to jewel tones like purple and blue. If you don’t want to commit permanently, consider hair chalking, semi permanent color, or colored extensions for a fun (temporary) change.
Add Some Style
The “it” hairstyle of the season is an easy Low Pony Tail! This classic hairstyle looks great on everyone, and can be translated to appear flirty and sexy with big volume and rough texture, or chic and elegant with a smooth clean style. For full effect, the low pony works best on medium to thick hair types, but those with fine (or short) hair can get this look with a pony hair extension (available at most drug stores and beauty supply stores).
Wrap it Up
Rock one of the hottest spring 2013 hair accessories with a Flirty Head Scarf. Louis Vuitton got me excited about this look with his flirty retro runway style. Not only are head scarfs adorable, but they’re also practical, serving as a great way to keep hair out of your face on a hot day or conceal messy hair for a morning walk or errands.
Whether you’re just wanting to add a punch of color with a fun floral head scarf, or you’re looking for a more dramatic change like a sexy new haircut, spring is the season to have fun with your style and reinvent yourself. So while you’re busy sneezing and dusting, and stretching your toes, take some time to revamp your own style to welcome in spring.
