Most Popular Prom Updos are Simple & Chic

Prom updos this year are simple, chic, classy, sexy and easy to do! How great is that! If you watched some of the red carpet events at the Peoples Choice Awards and the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, you saw some of the updos that will be channeled at this years prom!

Many of you long-haired darlings, who have a bit of talent wielding the brush and comb, may be able to manage this years prom hair style at home. However, I’m not suggesting that you should, by any means, take for granted that you will be able to achieve the look you want without first practicing the do’ you will do!!

After all, this is just one of the most glamorous nights of your life, and you do need to get the dress, the shoes, the accessories and please . . . get the hair style right! (There will be pictures, that keep showing up for a long-time you know!)

If your hair is short and you long to do an updo, check out your local beauty supply stores for clip-in extensions. Don’t worry about styling them yourself, call around to find someone who works with extensions and go in for a trial run. No surprises!

Don’t forget to bring in a picture to your hairdresser of what you’re looking for, it’s the best way of getting the look you want. Oh . . . and for you ladies who don’t want to do an updo, keep in touch, we will be bringing you some new ideas too!
