Curls 911: Bringing Your Curls Back to Life

What to Do With Curly Hair on Day 2

As a modern woman, you need to juggle so many tasks in work and life. Second and third day hair is the most difficult to manage but, we’ve got a quick way to refresh your curly hair without wetting your curls from start to finish.

Here’s a way to make things a little bit easier, no matter what curl type you are:

As she’s doing in this image, just blend 3/4 water in a spray bottle with 4 or 5 pumps of a water-soluble conditioner. In this case, I’m using Devacurl One Condition.

Take a uniform section of hair from the top of the ear and up, making sure to get it wet to reactivate the curls.

Once you wet the entire front and back crown area, use your fingers as a comb to set the top area with your fingers but don’t worry about the lower, undone curls. This will help hide that lower valley of curls just like a pretty garden.

For the final step, either clip the crown for height or leave it down and just air-dry or defuse and “Presto!” you’re ready to go back into the world refreshed and well groomed!
